Presenting to you... "Acute Night Lamp".

A series which concentrates on acute angles and curves... The lamp is one of the products. The structure itself is inspired from an acute angle and has been further iterated on. The curve has been made by cane weaving with the help of a master craftsman in Mysore. This product also symbolises to preserve a dying art at the same time that is cane weaving. It also gives an illusion of having one point of contact throughout.. It has a base which holds it upright. Other than that you can make it sleep to adjust the angle or hang it, however you like it!

Materials Used : Filament bulb, White Oak, Beech wood, cane.
This project was a part of my Internship at Bram Woodcrafting Studio, Mysore.
Presenting to you "Hashtag".. A minimal approach to a guitar stand... Inspired by angles and has been produced through a new skill learnt i.e steam bending. It is an addition to the Acute Series.. I repeat an addition to the A-cute Series..

Wood : White Oak and RoseWood
Technique : Wood Bending of 2mm strips of Oak X 5

An exercise based on skills of tracing, handwork and understanding of angles. Its called a Viking Chair and its flatpack.. The angle which has been given here is at 70 degrees.

Wood: Oak (cement stained) and Beech wood.
Been fascinated with Kerfing ever since i started my journey in woodwork.
Being @bramwoodcraftingstudio i thought to give it a go.. Used a 45 angle jig and set the blade at 45 degree as well. I thought of giving it a different look like a spiral form. So here we go. I inverted the piece but due to its fragile cuts..it snapped. Truly is one of the toughest techniques to work with.
A big thumbs up to BWS team who made it all possible!
